In January 2010, UMACO acquired the sole ownership of Eurolux hotel, located in the south of Moscow. After the acquisition, the hotel was repositioned and rebranded as Katerina Park, with public areas completely remade in April and an innovative conference floor opened in July 2010. A new guest relax area with gym, saunas and jacuzzi as well as a new kitchen and staff areas were completed in December 2010. The design project, reconstruction and the rebranding was carried out without interrupting the hotel operations since the acquisition of the hotel in February 2010. In less than a year, occupancy rates and RevPAR index of Katerina Park have more than doubled.
Today, the hotel has achieved a strong position on the market among the leading international hotel brands in Moscow, evidenced by the guest reviews on Tripadvisor, where Katerina Park is a top rated 4-star hotel in Moscow.
